Discipline regarding calorie intake and time of calorie intake.
Divide the meal into small portions.
Avoid high Glycemic index foods.

Try eating healthy, whole grain food. Beware of the glycemic index of some fruits since some has a very high GI and is not for diabetic people. Long standing diabetes will soon affect your cardiac health due to microangiopathy. Best way is to stay active , exercise regularly and do weight training since diabetes also result in muscle loss.

  3. consume low glycemic index food i.e whole grains
  4. keep sugar away from your diet as much as possible
  5. sugar can be replaced with jaggery

Diet with millets, ragi.
Have whole wheat grain.
Have cucumber after meal.
Sugar free diet.

Lifelong disease can be easily controlled by lifestyle modifications.
Physical activity 150min per week
Frequent meals , No added sugars .
Eat more fruits and vegetables
Also don’t forget regular monitoring .

@Abhilasha i agree with your each point and i shared with my diabetic person.

  1. Take one tomato. Remove the seeds. Grind the tomato with half a glass of water. Do not add salt or sugar. Drink this juice in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not eat or drink anything 30 minutes before or after drinking it.

  2. Take raw turmeric and make fine powder. Take 8 grams of this powder with warm water two times a day—morning and evening. Drink it on an empty stomach, about 30 minutes before food.
