Very rightly said. Taking pain during periods is very safe.They help reduce menstrual cramps by lowering prostaglandin levels, but persistent or severe pain should always be evaluated rather than simply masked with medication.
Sometimes the pain can be so bad that a woman is not able to get through the day without a pain killer. Suffering in pain shouldn’t be glorified just because people are less informed.
I totally agree. Period pain isn’t the same for every woman, so making judgments based on someone else’s experience should never be encouraged. Every woman’s pain is different, and seeking relief is absolutely fine rather than suffering.
Nobody should be made to believe that it’s okay to endure the pain in silence and not take the available medications when necessary. Unfortunately in our society women are always told to suffer in silence. The quieter they can be about their miseries, the better they are. The taboos should be broken down and women should be encouraged to seek medical help when in pain
