Meftal-Spas is commonly used by many women to relieve menstrual cramps and is generally safe when taken occasionally and as prescribed. It combines a muscle relaxant (dicyclomine) and a pain reliever (mefenamic acid). The usual dosage is one tablet every 8 hours, with a maximum of three tablets per day, and it should be taken after food.
