We all have days when we walk out of a test, assessment, or viva feeling like we truly did well. And then there are days when everything feels off, when we go back over our routine and start questioning what went wrong. Sometimes it is not even easy to place the blame on ourselves, because we are aware of our potential and what we are capable of when we push harder. Yet there are moments when that sense of potential feels distant or irrelevant, only to return again later and remind us of what we can do.
It is important to understand that not every setback needs self blame, but every outcome does require acceptance. Acceptance is where growth begins. If we stay in denial, constantly trying to justify or cover up our mistakes, we end up standing still. Progress comes from being honest with ourselves, from acknowledging where we fell short without avoiding it. Owning our mistakes is not a sign of weakness, it is what allows us to move forward with clarity and purpose.
