We are living in an era of social media. We use social media to keep ourselves updated, and everyone shares their journey and showcases their success stories. But no one shows their failures, the process they went through to achieve success.
Some days, someone gets promoted; some are flying in business class; some share their transformation journeys; some share their congratulations, and some share their competitive exam scores. But wait, for those who are still figuring things out, those who are going through rough phases, it becomes difficult to step out of their comfort zones. They feel like they have already been left behind. Even if they work hard, they feel they cannot reach the mark.
But not everything you see should be absorbed into your mind. You are on your own path. Never compare your journey with others’. Everyone has their own level of difficulty. Most importantly, everything has its own time. Things will work out when they are meant to. Don’t exhaust yourself, just keep working hard and leave the rest.
What do you do when you feel like you are not enough?
That feeling hits almost everyone at some point it doesn’t mean it’s true, just that your mind is being harsh. Remind yourself it’s a feeling, not a fact. Pause comparisons, focus on small wins, and keep going.
There are days when I feel so productive and confident and then there are also some days when I feel the complete opposite! I think that’s what makes us human. One can never be fully positive or fully negative. There are ups and downs that we encounter in our lives. And it’s okay to feel low at times but the most important this is, how are we are handling ourselves and our thoughts at our low points and coming out of it. Everyone of us is unique, different and on our own journey. We have to embrace that instead of looking at it like a rat race. Yes, life is a race but only with yourself! You have to win against your negative thoughts and be confident. Good things will definitely come your way once the hardwork is paid off.
Some of the true words that we should pin in our mind. Sometimes we feel stuck and need a break to break that vicious daily cycle to think out of the box to practice something new. That’s a very crucial time not just to take a break but also to plan for future.
There were times when I felt like I wasn’t enough and questioned if I was unfit for anything.
Now a days, with social media, we mostly see people sharing their best moments and not their struggles, which makes it easy to compare. But the truth is everyone has their own path. We just need to understand it, stay consistent, and trust the process.
And I always believe in that – if something is truly meant for me, it will find its way to me.
Absolutely, one thing that I have learned the hard way is to live, but work to live. Enjoy life a little more, don’t trap yourself with jobs and career burden, live a little more
I tell myself that I have come a long way. From one single lens, the situation might seem difficult but than I tell that everything turned out wonderfully and it will so in future too.
Absolutely! I often find myself worry about my future after comparing myself to others who are settled in life. But there are also days where I am confident about myself and think I can be successful in the future. Yes, there are times where we feel completely positive and on other days, we are upset and overthinking. Life is not always sunshine and rainbows, it is a mix of both success and failures. We must embrace our failures and work hard towards making a change. Our hardwork is enough to show that we are willing to work towards a happy and prosperous life. Comparing ourselves to others does nothing but more harm and compels us to be always worrisome and upset. When instead, we can take small steps and build our life at our own pace.
