Yes, well said. Nowadays, many people over the age of 45 suffer from blood pressure issues, and it can be quite risky. Managing it involves reducing salt intake, quitting smoking, avoiding overthinking, getting 7–8 hours of sleep regularly, and more. I’ve seen many people take medication regularly to reduce hypertension, but I believe long-term use of tablets may cause side effects, and some even experience a loss of strength. However, if blood pressure exceeds 140/100 mmHg, taking medication becomes necessary.

Hypertension is dangerous because it can increases unexpectedly, so we must always stay cautious and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

On the other hand, hypotension (low blood pressure) is also risky. Some people suddenly lose consciousness, and their hands and feet may turn cold. In such cases, offering sugar, salted water, or even chocolates can help back to the condition.

So yes, both hypertension and hypotension ( 50/80 mmHg) especially when BP increases or decreases than normal range are risky and require proper care.

Blood pressure deserves your attention because it directly affects heart, brain, and kidney health. High or low levels often show no symptoms but can lead to serious issues like heart attacks, strokes, or organ damage. Regular monitoring and healthy lifestyle choices help prevent complications. Managing blood pressure is a simple yet powerful step toward long-term well-being.

In today’s fast-paced and high-stress world, the problem of high BP has started to emerge now in younger adults as well, that was mostly limited to elderly earlier. Now, it is very important to take caution in case of borderline BP readings too, as that can also slowly harm vital organs, if no necessary preventive steps are taken. Awareness should be developed in such a way that, it’s important to check the numbers before the onset of symptoms. BP can be checked at home regularly, reduction of sodium should be done by avoiding outside snacks and sauces. Managing stress is the most important step to be taken along with building a good routine for restorative sleep. This is one such drastic condition that can be handled very smoothly, if the necessary actions are done in an organized manner.
