This article by an anatomist Dr. Sumbul @DrSumbul is a great read.
I definitely agrees that Anatomy is the foundation of medicine. I do not think it is under-rated, but yes, it evokes fear and anxiety among newly admitted teenagers coming to med schools from the comforts of their homes.
