Sometimes I feel extremely tired, like my body just wants to shut down and rest.
But the moment I lie down, sleep doesn’t come.
It made me realize something…being tired doesn’t always mean being ready to sleep.
Physically, the body might be exhausted, but mentally, there’s still so much going on..Thoughts, stress, or just a constant sense of alertness we don’t even notice.
I used to think rest was simple, just close your eyes and sleep. But now it feels like rest is something deeper… something the mind also needs to agree to.
This “tired but awake” feeling is often seen in patterns related to insomnia, where the body asks for rest but the mind doesn’t slow down.
Maybe true rest isn’t just about stopping physically, but also about learning how to pause mentally.
Have you ever felt this? being completely tired, yet unable to sleep? What do you do in these situations?
My mind constantly and subconsciously thinks of something , the effects of which we can see in our daily routine . Agressiveness increases , cannot tolerate things , can’t have a good sleep and many more .
Yes sometimes..at that times mind constantly works as machine..and that time you know your body and mind have to rest but you can’t do anything..But I found solution which work well..it is Play music and put it on timer like 15-30 min ..& Music like some soulful light music or some religious music(best solution for mine) and go to sleep…Then I thought it might not be the right thing to do..but - for some day to find mental peace and rest..it can’t be a question of right or wrong..
Yes it happens many times and I think there is no coordination between our body and mind. Body needs rest and mind keeps us awake and this unbalanced affects our daily routine.
Yea. I have experienced it. For keeping mind fix without thinking, I start counting till 108 and keep on repeating, in no time you are slept and morning I wake up and think when did I sleep I don’t remember.
