Small things you can implement in your day for better health

Tiny steps can have big long term results when done consistently. Our body and our health is the most precious thing you have- so make sure you take care of it. Some small things you can implement in your daily life include:

•Spend at least 10 minutes outside or in nature everyday. Mental health is more important than you can even imagine!

• Make sure there is some amount of fiber in every meal.

• Try to limit your caffeine intake post 4pm.

• BEDTIME ALARMS: We usually set alarms to be able to wake up early, but why not start setting an alarm for nighttime to remind you to go to bed? Or maybe to brush your teeth at night?

• Reduce your screentime. Undoubtedly the single most important thing in today’s world. Try making your phone a “boring” phone. There are apps that can help you do this (it will eliminate colours from your phone and turn everything into greyscale, making it less appealing for you).

What is one thing that you’ve recently started doing for bettering your health?

It is an absolute powerful reminder that small, consistent habits create lasting health. In a world obsessed with quick fixes, these simple steps- daily nature time, mindful eating, limiting caffeine, setting bedtime alarms, and reducing screen time are genuinely transformative. They strengthen both physical and mental wellbeing without overwhelming you. Making your phone “boring” is especially smart in today’s distraction filled world. Health isn’t built in a day it’s built through hundreds of tiny choices repeated over time. Recently, I have been helping people build micro habits like scheduled wind down routines and intentional digital breaks, which dramatically improve sleep and stress levels. Your body will always thank you.

Going for a morning walk every day for at least 30 minutes is the best habit I have included in my schedule. It keeps me refreshed and energized for rest of the day.

Love these gentle yet powerful reminders! I’ve recently started stretching for 10 minutes before bed and keeping my phone out of reach after 9 PM — it has brought drastic changes for my sleep and focus.
I’d love to add a few more tiny habits to the list, which I have personally experienced to be helpful :
Start your day with a glass of water before coffee/ tea.
Take short movement breaks between work hours.
Practice 5 minutes of deep breathing or gratitude journaling daily
Laugh more.
