Overdose of exercise and protein powder

Over exercise and excess intake of protein powders are two growing problems in latest fitness culture. Many people push their bodies harder than they can safely recover from.

But in reality, the human body has clear limits.

When the intensity of the exercise exceeds the body’s ability to repair muscle tissue it leads to inflammation and hormonal imbalance.

Protein powders an added risk when taken in excess. Even though it is essential for muscle repair, it is to be taken a certain amount at a time. If exceeded it could lead to dehydration, gynaecomastia, bloating, constipation, etc.

And the combination of both over exercise and over use of protein may further increase the risk of physical injuries and hormonal problems.

A healthier way is to balance training intensity with proper recovery and smart nutrition with foods that are naturally available.

When exercise and protein intake are matched to the body’s actual needs, the result is steady, stronger and long lasting.
