Sudden cardiac death v/s excess fitness!

Few years back Puneeth rajkumar , sidharth shukla and Singer K K left this world way too early and surprisingly all of them were fit. So important point to be highlighted is that all you see dosen’t fit all.

What i mean to say that when we see advertisement that doing regular gym is important and heavy protein food, not seeing individual health and physique .So one should not go for blind following for fitness seeing our crush .

Things to take care before starting gym and exercise :-

  1. have a complete body check up
  2. you pre work out food and post work out .
  3. TMT and check for 1. undiagnosed heart markersevaluation

Reason : Every body is diferent.. following good health habit is good but first check your own body and go for healthy long term adaptable exercise for you

Engaging question :- Did you ever thought of going heart check up and body examination before going workout or blind following???

Cases of heart attack are increasing because people perform strenuous exercises in gym and their body is not ready to take that stress. Hence it is important to get a check up done before hitting the gym and engaging in strenuous workouts.

Yes, people dying of cardiac problems at a young age is increasing, especially those in the age group of 20 to 40. Fitness is important for a healthy life, but before getting into hard-core exercises, it is better to get a physical evaluation done.

True!! even celebrities like puneeth rajkumar, siddharth shukla and kk remind us that fitness is not one-size-fits-all; shockingly, a similar sudden collapse in a gym was reported in today’s morning news too. Before blindly following workout trends, shouldn’t we first ask ourselves have we actually checked our heart and overall health?

We should learn from the cases that we see and go for a consultation/ work with personal trainer to see what matches with your goals and what is the right way to do things

It’s a powerful reminder that in medicine, ‘more’ isn’t always ‘better.’ While we advocate for exercise, understanding the threshold where physiological adaptation turns into pathological remodeling—like atrial fibrillation or myocardial fibrosis—is key for us as future clinicians.

You’ve made a very important point. Fitness should never be about blind imitation. It must be personalized to your body and health. A proper medical check-up, balanced nutrition, and safe, adaptable exercise routines are the real foundation for long-term wellness.
