These days, people blindly follow trends without understanding their long-term effects. One such habit is everyone’s jumping on the latest face care trends—like quick fixes to glow up, remove tans or get rid of pimples fast. People try quick fixes like using strong creams, lemon-turmeric mixtures, toothpaste on pimples or even harsh scrubs to get rid of tans and breakouts fast. But these can irritate your skin, cause dryness or make problems worse if not used carefully. Instead of jumping on every trend, it’s better to stick to gentle cleansing, moisturizing, and sun protection. Healthy, glowing skin comes from consistent care and patience—not quick shortcuts.
Just like how people have started wearing blue-light filter glasses all the time- even when not required - believing it’s healthy but it may actually cause eye fatigue or dependency. Replacing traditional, mindful habits with unnecessary trends can be risky. Let’s not fall for every trend without understanding its real impact on our health.
I completely agree.
Blindly following trends without knowing their impact can do more harm than good. Quick fixes often backfire, especially in skincare and lifestyle choices.
Consistency, simplicity, and understanding what truly works for your body are far more effective than chasing every new trend.
Yes it is admissible that every social media trend is healthy choice because on social media everybody is in a dilusion of their own fantasy lifestyle, they all are busy in showing that how we are eating healthy and not us?
Everyone’s body metabolism and physiology is different for the different food choices. It totally depends on our body’s action on the food.
Exactly, Everyone just blindly following the trends these days without knowing what actually good for them. I have seen so many members using random viral tips on their faces just because they are viral. It may give some result for a day or two but later it damages more. Same with those blue light glasses people wear them without any reason. Instead of all this, just following a simple daily health routine better. Skin or health anything needs consistency, not quick actions.
Not every trend is good for our health or values. Just because something is popular doesn’t mean it’s right for us. Before following a trend, we should think if it matches our goals, lifestyle, or beliefs. Blindly copying others can lead to problems. It’s better to stay true to ourselves and choose what’s really good for our mind and body.
Totally agree with this!
Following trends blindly can do more harm than good especially when it comes to skincare or health. I’ve seen people damage their skin just by trying every DIY hack on the internet
Simple routines with consistency work way better than quick fixes. And yes, not every trend is backed by real science sometimes less is more!
Yes , I totally agree not every trend is good for health we should be aware about the what advice to follow and what not to follow through social media
it is true people go for treand it is a nature.
But sometimes going for trend becomes harmful for us think before what you do if it is harmful don’t do that.
It is not only in cosmetics that people doing trend it is everywhere were people doing trend like in cars bike clothes showoff.
Just remember going for trends doesn’t mean you are uptodate or something like your cool .
Absolutely. We have come to an era, where everyone is so keen on quick-fixes, because we hardly have time to concentrate on ourselves, as our day-to-day life gets busy with work and handling relationships and our own health takes a backseat and when some problem happens, we try to quick fix it. So, first of all this root cause needs to be worked upon. Over work and relationships in life, our own health should be our priority and every single day we should be mindful about every tiny things that we do towards our health like how we are sleeping, how we are feeling through out the day, if something is impacting us how we are dealing with it, how is our exercise regimen and is it making us feel good or it is making us feel more tired or fatigued, how much we are able to focus on work and how we feel in our relationships, what food we are taking in regularly into our body. The entire focus should be on the self and we should be the anchor around everything, rather than other things taking center-stage and we revolving around them. As all these at the end, define our overall health, our skin, and our well-being and it is a process, it builds gradually.
Actually! Personally, I never believe in following trends. It feels like following the herd mentality. There is no point in doing that. Instead, I feel in customizing and personalizing things, just for you (Keeping your needs in consideration)
I absolutely agree with this. self care is not a quick fix. You need to know your body first to care for it. Have too many pimples? Then do drink water and do some natural remedies than getting a expensive face wash full of chemicals. Caring for oneself needs patience. Not everything we watch on social media is true. Whatever you apply or use for you body think a hundred times.
That true. Without knowing basic things about your body, following the wrong formula can give harsh results. Whenever there is any confusion consult doctor.
I strongly agree to this point people often prefer faster solution than the traditional/ slower method they don’t have patience to get cured completely and obviously follow the latest trend with temporary joy without knowing the consequences
Yes it’s a true ,only external cosmetics, formulation application can’t change your nature tone.
Diet, natural home remedies , healthy lifestyle are the important factor.
Internal cleaning more important than external.
