Not Every Trend is a Healthy Choice !!

As I have said earlier, everything on Instagram or other social medias wouldn’t work for everyone. It obviously depends on each person’s skin and body. Following social media trends and using medicinal creams or other medicinal applications without any supervision would definitely cause risks in the long term. Understand your body needs and consult a Dermatologist if any medical intervention is needed.
Otherwise, continue using your traditional habits which works best for you. It might take time but would be a definitely healthy approach than those harmful trends.
Remember consistency is the key for everything.

Skincare is just not what every other influencer on various platforms is speaking about.
Once everyone gets this that’s when their brains will grow
A quick fix is always a quick break again and usually people don’t get this
And it’s consistency that’s clears out problems
I’ve seen people use retinol for 3 months → and once they got the clear skin → stopped using it → break outs happened again
And guess what who they blame → the dermat’s the culprit here
People follow influencers for saving up their money to a dermatologist visit
And influencers make money out of it

These days, people run behind health and beauty trends just because they’re viral on social media, without thinking about their long-term effects. One common example is the increasing obsession with getting glowing and healthy skin. People also start taking protein powders even when their body doesn’t need it, or keep trying different hair remedies just to grow long hair, without knowing whether these things are actually suitable or necessary for them.

Whatever is trending on the net need not be necessarily good for you.

Yes,not every trend is a healthy choice;based on social media trend many of them follow it to go with the trend and keep self satisfied but some of them are just for attraction which doesnot give results instead of that there will be affects and reactions to the health and skin.

These days, many people follow new trends without thinking much about how it can affect them later. For example, in skincare, people try quick methods to get clear skin fast—like strong creams, lemon or turmeric mixes, or even toothpaste on pimples. But these can hurt the skin and make things worse. It’s better to follow simple steps like washing your face gently, using moisturizer, and protecting your skin from the sun. Good skin takes time and care—not shortcuts.

Exactly, people should follow the methods that had worked for them since ages, they are trustworthy. Jumping just to try out a fast trend is just way too unpredictable.

The most important thing one can do to have a good skin is to take care of their gut health. Following any skin care trend that you see on social media will not be helpful if your body isn’t healthy or clean from inside. Secondly, everybody has different skin types, so instead of following a generalised skincare trend, care should be taken as per the type and need of individual skin types :blossom:

Absolutely, you’re so right @harshitha_m

Exactly! You’ve put it so well @Vinayak
Just because something works for one person doesn’t mean it’s right for everyone.
Listening to your own body rather than copying someone else’s plate or routine, is the key to true health.

Absolutely, you nailed it @LikhithaReddy.
Viral doesn’t always mean valuable—especially when it comes to skin and health.

So true @Sandra_subash popularity doesn’t equal suitability.
Trends come and go but our well-being should never be based on what’s trending.

Absolutely, you’re right @Yash1612, it’s human nature to be drawn to trends.
Just because something is trendy doesn’t mean it’s right or makes you cool. Real confidence comes from doing what truly fits you—not what fits the trend.

Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to real health and happiness.

Absolutely agree @SakshiShah
Following the herd often means ignoring what truly works for you. Personalizing your choices based on your own needs and preferences is way more meaningful—and effective.

Absolutely @Pratk it’s so common to chase viral trends without stopping to think about what our bodies really need. Listening to yourself is always the best approach!
