Liver function tests are biochemical tests which test the levels of liver enzymes (ASP/ALT/ALP,ETC) in the blood
Uses: it is used to assess the functioning of the liver, and to diagnose any abnormality like hepatitis, gall stones, jaundice, cirrhosis etc

LFTs are blood tests to evaluate the functioning of liver.
Normal ranges includes:
ALT -7-56 U/L
AST -10-40 U/L
ALP -44-147 U/L
Total Bilirubin <1.2 mg/dL
Albumin- 3.5-5.0 g/dL
Total Protein- 6.0-8.3 g/dL
It is used to diagnose liver diseases such as fatty liver, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, hepatitis, etc.
Used for monitoring the treatment process.
