A day in life of a dental intern.

This brings back a flood of memories. Here’s what a typical day looked like during our internship days:

:nine_o_clock: 9:00 AM – Reach college and sign the attendance register at the dental office.
:footprints: Head to the department where we’re posted, and yes, another register awaits!

:health_worker: We’d usually divide ourselves into three groups:

Old Case Team – Follow up on previous cases, fill out case sheets, get staff approvals, and guide interns/students on next steps.

New Case Team – Take up fresh cases, do initial diagnosis, get staff approval, and ensure everything is logged in the logbook.

Support Team – Assist juniors, assign cases, guide them on clinical steps, and help with presentations or materials.

:green_salad: Lunch Break – A brief pause to refuel and share clinic stories.

:four_o_clock: Evening – We wrap up follow-ups, complete appointments, and collect signatures for the logbook.

:pen: End of the day – Head back to the dental office, sign the out register, and finally… back to the hostel.

Some days were tiring, others inspiring — but every day taught us something new. Grateful for those chaotic, hands-on, real-world learning moments. :blue_heart:

But frankly these are your best days.. enjoy it. this is coming from a person who has finished college in 2017 and reminiscing about it while going through this post.
