5 easy but effective tips to stay healthy mentally and physically as busy students

Try these simple tips to improve your life as well as studies

  1. Small movements count - walk while talking on a call or while doing flash cards
  2. Sit in good posture and good lighting while studying - Sit with back straight / use pillow for spine support
  3. Take a 5 minute mindful break - just sit or lay down with eyes closed to reduce stressful thoughts and refocus.
  4. Post meal activity -do light calf raises , leg swings or stroll to manage sugar levels and stay active
  5. Sleep well and stay hydrated - plan your studies so you can get enough sleep and avoid sleepless nights cramming. Staying hydrated helps your brain function better so keep a water bottle on your desk

This is what helps me so give it a try -

  • keep your water bottle on your study table
  • drink after every meal
  • start and end your day by drinking water
  • try setting reminders on your phone so you don’t forget to drink water
