Curd is very beneficial for our body as it has rich nutritional value and probiotics content. Health benefits include:

  3. It is good source of calcium, protein, vitamins and Magnesium.

Yes, curd has many benefits as it helps in maintaining a good gut health. But, people with certain conditions like acne canโ€™t take it much, as in some people curd can fluctuate hormones inside the body if taken regularly or in large amounts. These days in markets some curds are available that are high in fat; so people suffering from hypertension and CVDs or people with elevated cholesterol profiles can use low fat curd available to reap the benefits without enhancing the total cholesterol and LDL. Besides, flavoured curds and some salty curds are also available in the market and they are not healthy as that has large amount of salts/sugars in them.

Curd is truly THE superfood that needs to incorporated into daily meals. Itโ€™s easy on the stomach too!

Curd is hard to digest
Making buttermilk out of it has same properties as curd but is light
I would suggest including it in lunch is very beneficial
But donโ€™t include it in dinner.
