I use it to monitor my steps and heart rate. It has definitely helped me stay more consistent with my exercise and overall health.

Wearable health trackers can possible detect the abnormalities, but it cannot be used to diagnose or confirm the underlying condition. Wearables can possible help in having a track of our body’s activities such as oxygen, sugar levels, sometimes blood pressure, and when an abnormality is found it is better to recheck it in clinics or hospitals under the guidance of a professional.

But all this is only when the individual is motivated to change.

Wearable technology can add to human expertise but can’t replace clinicians
They can help us with continuous monitoring of our data which can’t be practically done through traditional studies
