I have been in and out of the same problem this year. Most internships are tracked on by eager students much in advance. They put their details together in an early application and start off based on a plan, when we just begin hearing.

This is such a relatable issue! It’s frustrating when universities push us to get internships without offering any real help or direction. Not everyone has the know-how or connections to just “get one.” A little guidance—like a list of places to apply, how to write a decent CV, or maybe a mentorship session—could make such a big difference.

You have to search for internship by yourself. University doesn’t help to provide internship. Go through linkedin, search for internship options.

One of the biggest challenges in securing internships today is the lack of connections.
No matter how strong your resume is, many opportunities are already taken—often reserved through personal networks long before they’re publicly listed.

It’s something I personally experienced, and to be honest, it’s not easy to deal with.
Merit alone doesn’t always open doors, and that’s the reality many students silently struggle with.

Searching ais the only option. Many platforms provide information about various internships throughout the year.

yes, i agree but none of all have connections, with help of connections the deserving candidates are not getting opportunity. LinkedIn helps but it take too much time.

It’s tough when universities push for internships but don’t actively help secure them. It often falls on students to network and search independently, despite the pressure. It’s a common challenge in many fields.

It’s frustrating when universities pressure us to do internships but don’t provide enough support or opportunities. Students end up stressed, struggling to find placements, despite wanting to gain practical experience.

It’s frustrating when universities keep telling us not to “waste time” and push us to do internships, but don’t actually help us get them. Most of us are ready to work and gain practical experience—but without proper guidance, contacts, or even a list of available opportunities, it feels like we’re left to figure everything out on our own. If gaining experience is that important, there should be real support systems in place, not just pressure.

Though the college is not helping us to find one what we can do for ourselves is to create an account in linkedin internshala and search for internship according to ur preferences
They provide u with remote jobs, part time job, u can choose ur payscale, etc
