Summer season brings a lot of memories. Giving annual exams in April, those half-day schools, cool water bottles, buying summer snacks from the local vendor nearby. Eagerly waiting for the exams to finish. Finally, the summer vacation is here, mangoes everywhere!
Those free-spirited childhood days. Days used to be longer, peaceful and filled with silence. Life was never as fast as it is now. Those peaceful mornings, tasty breakfast made by Mum. Fights with siblings over silly things.
Peaceful afternoons, playing our favourite games, and after tiring ourselves out, having lunch and watching our favourite TV show with siblings. No doom scrolling, being engaged only in mindful games, drawings, paintings, cricket.
Taking permission from Mum and Dad for summer camps. Summer season was so peaceful, not this hectic. Those days were truly something else.
Those days remind us that the best things in life were never complicated. They were just slow, simple, and sweet
Days were longer, quieter, and filled with a kind of peace that is hard to find now.
My best summer memories will be just chilling at home in my summer holidays! Home just brings a different kind of peace in summer. Sitting infront of the cooler, watching my favourite cartoons, writing my journal, eating ice-cream and just enjoying those little moments.
Summer always brings back so many beautiful memories. One of my best memories is spending time with cousins, visiting my granny’s home and secretly enjoying lots of mangoes- just pure joy and peace. It’s true that those playful days feel harder to find now, especially in today’s social media world.
Well written. Sometimes I feel like sky was brighter days had more colors breeze felt little better when we were children. Now everything looks so dull
Summers have always been the best and memorable. I either visited my grandmother’s home or stayed home to spend my time with my sister and friends. Gobbling up mangoes & icecream, writing my diary, listening to music, watching cartoons and picking up different hobbies such as art, tennis and dancing. These activities made my summer the most memorable and gave me a lot of happiness. I really miss those days when everything was care-free and happy.
