With the arrival of summer season, we welcome mangoes and cold drinks into our diet. Though summer is not one of the pleasant seasons, we love it for the vacations and icy cool food substitutes it brings.
Along with these, summer is also known to cause dehydration as the temperature rises. We use air conditioners to cool ourselves indoors but the temperature difference as we move out and then back to air conditioning affects out well being. This impacts the fluid balance and metabolism leading to digestive problems. Moreover, excessive consumption of cold foods can make our digestion sluggish causing bloating and indigestion.
Eating out becomes frequent during summer vacations increasing the chances of stomach infection. Irregular meal timings also cause acidity.
Points to consider-
Stay hydrated with intake on 8-10 glasses of water daily.
Include juices rich in in vitamin C, buttermilk, coconut water to keep your gut cool and hydrated.
Consume cold foods like ice cream, cold drinks and desserts in moderation.
Avoid stepping out in peak sunny hours.
Prefer home cooked meals over street food.

Yes, Summer really does mess with digestion - I’ve noticed too - more bloating and acidity when I don’t stay hydrated or eat on time.
Staying on simple home food and fluids really help.
Body instantly gives design when our body is dehydrated such as pale yellow urine that shows your body needs water , feeling tired especially in summer sufficient intake of water should . It usually happens to me when I am travelling my water intake get reduced and more of carbonated drinks and junk food intake is there .
