:glowing_star: Unknown Facts About Tea

:small_blue_diamond: All Tea Comes From the Same Plant :herb:
Green, black, white, oolong, and pu-erh teas all come from Camellia sinensis.
The difference? How the leaves are processed โ€” oxidation transforms the flavor, aroma, and health benefits.

:small_blue_diamond: Tea Has More Antioxidants Than Most Superfoods :green_heart::dna:
Catechins, polyphenols, EGCG, theaflavins โ€” these compounds fight inflammation, boost immunity, and protect against chronic diseases.

EGCG enhances fat oxidation, improves insulin sensitivity, and even supports brain health.

This rare amino acid promotes calmness without drowsiness.
Thatโ€™s why tea relaxes you while keeping your mind sharp.

:small_blue_diamond: Herbal Teas Are NOT โ€˜Teaโ€™ Technically :lemon::cherry_blossom:
Chamomile, peppermint, hibiscus โ€” these are tisanes, made from flowers, herbs, or spices.

Good information

A detailed analysis of tea, very informative. For me, chai is the energy booster that helps me start my day. It gives me the boost I need to stay active throughout the day.

We are always taught that tea is not so good for health, but none teaches the right way of using it. Very informative!!
