Getting into research during med school made me see medicine beyond textbooks. It taught me how to question things, not just memorize them. Even small projects gave me confidence and opened conversations with seniors I wouldn’t have met otherwise. It wasn’t just about publications—it helped me think sharper, stay curious, and realize there’s always more to learn. If you’re even a little interested, it’s 100% worth trying.

Aligning with research- even if clinical -as a med std is a good idea. If nothing works, write case studies.
