Ways to get more exposure as medical students

As medical students its crucial to obtain clinical experience and to stay updated with recent advancements. Here are some ways to get more exposure as medical students -

  1. Shadowing doctors in hospitals and clinics - This provides the best opportunity to gain valuble clinical skills , team management skills and to understand to procedures starting right from admitting a patient to their discharge.
  2. Taking part in medical conferences and research - If you are interested in the research aspect of medicine , attending medical conferences and taking part in research opens a whole new world for you ( and it also looks great in the cv)
  3. Volunteering at awareness drives or healthcare events - grab every opportunity you can to participate and learn new things. It helps get exposure as well as learn new things on the way

These things require extra effort but aim bigger as experiences will always be helpful at some point
