Night Routine: A switch off button for your system

Morning routines are surely more in trend and given much importance over night routine.

But the preparation of a good morning starts the night before. It determines the mood and energy levels you will wake up with next morning.

Whole day we hustle, interact with so many people, keeping our mind and senses busy whole day long, that builds restlessness inside us.

And sleeping with restless mind and body often leads to inability to get sound sleep, which directly impacts our mornings.

You can incorporate few things to your night routine that relax your nervous system and automatically puts you to good sleep by releasing melatonin.

  • Read a good book
  • Journal about your day
  • Oil massage your feet
  • Switch off screens
  • Have light talk with your family
  • Meditation
  • Listening slow music

So, just slow down your evenings to calm your body and mind and to prepare yourself for an energetic morning in the most natural way.

Not using screen at least one hour before bed is necessary for good night sleep. It helps you restless mind to come at rest before sleep. Instead of using using screen you can read books , journal, can do sketching etc.

I wholeheartedly concur that a great morning truly begins the previous evening. After a busy day, I find that cutting less on screen time and engaging in soothing activities like reading or simply sitting quietly helps my mind relax. I am much more focused and productive the next day when I get better sleep.
We often underestimate the impact of a simple nightly routine.

Yes. Night is for whispers and soft shadows, a time for deep rest and dreams. Morning is a burst of golden light and new energy, an invitation to action and fresh possibility. Nice thoughts

This is such an important topic to discuss and majorly underrated.
The only and very essential part of my night routine will be applying rosewater to my face and do “yog nidra” meditation . It is short and very helpful in getting a sound sleep.
