what are your thoughts on this? And what factors help in building a better morning routine?
Very true. Waking up early does have a lot of benefits… But at the same time we should also try and take a complete sleep of at least7- 8 hours per day. After all, waking up early is beneficial only when it’s supported by adequate rest. Sleep plays a crucial role in physical health, mental well-being, and overall performance.
A very underrated concept, but I believe that morning routines can help in betterment of lifestyle and improve mood and overall well-being of a person. As it is said well begun is half done, I think a morning with better start often improves a person’s performance at workplace. Drinking one glass of luke warm water in morning improves gut health and gives a fresh start.
A consistent morning routine may not guarantee a perfect day, but it can create a stable foundation for productivity, mood, and well being. What matters most is consistency rather than having an elaborate routine. Simple habits such as adequate sleep, hydration, morning light exposure, physical activity, and a clear plan for the day can help regulate energy levels and improve focus. Ultimately, the best morning routine is one that is realistic, sustainable, and aligned with an individual’s lifestyle rather than following a one size fits all approach.
Excellent topic that we usually neglect. Like they say, “all that starts well ends well.” Having a fixed time to wake up, obviously after at least 7 hours of sleep, keeps our body well rested and energizes our mind. Sunlight exposure helps release feel-good hormones in our body and also helps us feel awake, accompanied by light morning exercises like mild jogging and stretching. This helps us get started with our day by curbing the lethargy of the previous day.
