MEDITATION, a stress reliever... Do you think so?

Medicine, a tough and detail-oriented major, lasts 5-6 years of study. It is really easy to get overwhelmed with daily tasks and topics, so one important thing that we can adopt for ourselves and our mental health is “Meditation”.

But why ???

  • Improved Focus and Concentration → It is very important to focus and concentrate while you study details regarding a topic for better understanding.
  • Reduced Stress and Anxiety → help reduce stress hormones and promote relaxation, a relaxed mind is also calm, and a calm mind helps you to make formal decisions.
  • Enhanced Memory → A calm mind is better able to process and retain information, and the better you process, the better you can apply it during your clinical practice.
  • Increased Problem-Solving Skills → a state of mental clarity and creativity, which not only helps with accurate problem solving but also helps with brainstorming ideas that can be helpful when you think of a topic.

This enhances the overall academic performance

:blossom:Apart from these, what are some other reasons that we can overcome while we meditate during our academic journey ?? And apart from this what are some other ways and patterns of concentrating while we study?? :blossom:
