How did you decide whether to pursue further studies (like a master’s or additional course) or to pause it or to drop it completely?
For me I always thought I’d do master’s from 2nd year when I got to see the lab-work at other institutes which our college took us to… I wanted to explore and learn more academically…
My UG friends circle went for placements quickly… I really felt left out at that time
And for my people still in the UG… are you keeping that option open for the future?

After 2/3 years of dentsitry, I decided to not take up pg in private colleges due to lack of amenities in most.. but I still appeared for pg exams for other opportunities like army dental corps…

I don’t want to pursue a Master’s just because I did a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy. Honestly speaking, I chose Pharmacy because I didn’t get a government college(MBBS) after NEET. So, I don’t want to do M.Pharm just because I have a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy. I explored various internships to discover my field of interest and eventually became part of MedBound Times. Now, if I pursue a Master’s, it will either be an MBA or something aligned with what I am currently doing, along with taking courses to polish my skills.

Masters will give you precise knowledge about your field and will give you perfection

Masters in a certain degree is a choice whether you want to excel in that particular field and sometimes students feel that an UG degree is enough but the market being competitive and demands students with excellent calibre to perform as per industry standards.

Same here as I never aligned with the interests in Masters after Bachelors in Pharmacy.

Even though masters provide a precise learning, I would say masters is not really necessary to work with precision. Instead after UG, there are many certificate courses which offer precise learning in the particular practical aspects of a work, which has a benifit of having a certificate degree and also more work experience than a master’s person of the same field. The perfection in work depends on the interest and skills that we develop through the job. But then again it depends on a individual to choose which path to take.
