And you think…Wait, when did everyone become a mentor?

These courses or pdf or webinars are not scams but they are not magic either . They hold normal , average information which is easily available online but is just presented in a better and structured way .

We are clearly seeing a shift ! From content creation to how to sell an idea on Internet .

Even fresh graduates,healthcare professionals,everyone is trying to teach before they’ve had a certain real time experience or hold a certain credibility.

To what I have observed ,it has two sides…one that …it’s working for them. Because people don’t always want to figure things out.They want direction.They want speed.

And on the other side, Many also want to be seen. To build a personal brand.To position themselves as someone who *knows.*Because today, on social media, being perceived as knowledgeable often matters as much as actually learning.

But the ultimate question is …when everyone is teaching , then who is still actually learning ?

Because real skills are slow and repetitive. Especially in healthcare, We can’t take shortcut for everything

So., I think these courses can give you direction.They can simplify the starting point.

But they can never replace real studying, real effort, and real experience.

Do you see these courses as helpful guidance or a distraction from real learning?

This is such an important point. People may claim to be highly qualified, but their advice isn’t automatically universal. Everyone’s life and path are different, so what worked for them may not work for you. Guidance can be helpful, but it’s up to you to decide what actually fits your situation and how you choose to move forward.

Seeking guidance if confused about career is very important and we should surely reach out to experts for clarity. It surely depends on you to apply it or not because situations are different, courses are different and many times skills required are different.

Yes I do think that the personal studying is more important than taking shortcuts all the time.

Well said! These days every person is intending to earn money and that’s not wrong but what are people as consumers looking toward matters. These courses are not life changing or most enlightening ones. So it’s important to see, understand before spending our money weather we need this particular course that some self proclaimed influencers and platforms are advertising.

It’s a wonderful topic to discuss on, @Anandani. Some of them are definitely clickbait. There are people who want to gain more followers/popularity and, in return, gain monetary benefits.

I have come across a few medical and dental influencers who are definitely worth following. They are sharing reliable and credible information. But most of them on social media who are portraying to be educators/influencers/mentors aren’t that knowledgeable nor do they have the expertise. It’s kind of scary, to be honest.

I see these courses as useful for direction, but not a substitute for real learning. They can guide beginners, but true skills—especially in healthcare—come only from consistent study and hands-on experience.
