We daily see the doctors on insta ,YouTube like platform makeing reels ,shorts and videos but we can also see that some of them ae so irrelevant, what you think??
Yes some might be irrelevant but they are sharing thier views. But hope they’re certified doctors.
Yes, blindly trusting to such platforms is not a great choice, I guess.
Social media is a powerful tool. When used responsibly, doctors can become educators at scale. But unchecked, it can become a source of mass confusion.
There are some people posting irrelevant content and therefore we should check content and not get false claims from such people.
If the advice is from a legit doctor, one can consider following it.
The influencers forget their work ethics sometimes and become a face to sell some company’s products without even knowing it’s actual pros and cons
Yes , some of them are irrelevant one should first check whether the doctor is certified before following them or viewing their content.
Some of them are definately misleading for sure
Some are good for making awareness about medicine, food intake, etc.
Some promote unnecessary things, which may not be good to health, but they will get good outcome.
Yes, you’re right, we do see a lot of doctors making reels and videos these days. Some of them are genuinely informative and help people understand health better in a simple way. But yes, a few can feel a bit irrelevant or more like entertainment than education.
I think the key is balance. It’s great to simplify medical info for people but it should still be responsible and fact-based. After all, people trust doctors even on social media, so we have to respect that trust.
Sharing medical or clinical information on social media can help reach a wider audience; however, ensuring scientific accuracy is even more important.
its all confusing , misguiding too
In my opinion, the side of educating the people is majorly dominant than the misleading.
It really helps the society to get the professional guidance through their content.
THOUGH, every advice should always be follow by consulting the healthcare professionals only.
But as we all know, where there are pros, there will be cons as well. Just a mislead can be very dangerous too.
Some of them are genuine and provide very useful tips while majority are jut misguiding. Please check facts before believing .
I actually watch a reel where an infulencer just mixing all the edible material like dahi, besan and coffee and she just called that an Ayurvedic face pack and it was used by our kings and queens like whatttt??? Bro coffee is never mentioned in ayurveda!!!
One Instagramer recommended prescription based medicines during operation sindoor for general public.
Yeah actually some of them post irrelevant and paid content but some of them are genuine one too.
Don’t trust blindly.
Some are actually posting informative content… So ya it has both the sides…
