People believe that warm water with little amount of honey can reduce fat but it is scientifically not proved and taking it in consistent amount is safe. But this thing also have some side effects like

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Honey is high in sugar content. If it is taken in empty stomach it may increase the sugar level
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Some are allergic to honey and it may cause itching, rashes or other respiratory problems
:backhand_index_pointing_right:Honey should not be heated in high temperature. As it delivers some toxic substance which is harmful

It does work if it’s done mindfully. It’s not directly related to weight loss, but it results in detoxification and through that one can reduce some weight. But this is not the significant way to weight loss, as weight loss only happens when our calorie expenditure is more than the calorie intake and it’s done for atleast 3-6 months regularly and after that maintained by a regular diet and exercise routine. Honey with lemon is mostly taken in luke warm water and not hot water. Besides, raw honey is more beneficial as compared to commercial honey that might be filled with more sugar. People with high blood glucose or Diabetes should completely avoid it. Simple lemon water (luke warm) with a pinch of cinnamon powder will do mostly the same job as honey does; so one can switch to that to avoid glucose spike.

Truee! So many people swear by warm water with honey in the morning, and I used to think it’s some magic weight loss trick too.But honestly, once I started learning a bit more, I realised it’s not a fat burner—it just feels healthy because it’s light and warm. And yeah, honey might be natural, but it’s still sugar. If someone has sugar issues or allergies, it can actually cause problems. Plus, I had no idea heating it too much could make it toxic. So yeah, it’s okay if someone likes it and it suits their body, but we shouldn’t rely on just that to lose weight. Good food, movement, and consistency always win.

Mostly people who are trying to shed their body weight takes water warm with honey. In this scenario people influenced by influencers and people takes it seriously without doing any research.

I think people should maintain a healthy balance diet to reduce fat and overcome obesity

This is really very helpful

Honey is obtained raw and should be consumed like it.
It shouldn’t be heated in any form as it may turn poisonous.
Not just honey with warm water but in cakes cookies n all.
In ayurveda it’s said as Gara visha
(The thing that accumulates in body for a long time and then turns poisonous)

It may help with digestion or provide a mild energy boost, but weight loss depends on overall diet and lifestyle. As for side effects, they are real concerns.

Good to know the truth behind it!

Nice to know

Yes. People are so unaware of the myths about health that have been spreading over decades. For following any kind of diet, people should first research and consult their dietician or trainer.

Honey with water is okay for most people in small amounts but those with allergies or diabetes should be cautious and consult a doctor before making it a habit.

People consuming it because they thing by using this they loose fat and some people really says they used it and looses fat. So it’s totally depends on how do u take this

Yeah, many of us including me, have tried honey for reducing fat based on suggestions from others. But thanks for sharing the truth - consuming honey won’t specifically target belly fat, and it may have other effects on our bodies.
