A home care kit must include

  1. An antipyretic (Paracetamol 650mg)
  2. An antiseptic cream and dressing materials
  3. Silver nitrate for burns
  4. Glucometer
  5. BP apparatus.

Now a days heart attacks are very common even in young adults. So having antianginal / antiplatelet drug will help during emergencies.

Medical emergencies are uncertain events and being prepared can make a difference in saving our loved ones.

  1. Bleeding - Sterile Gauze, Band Aid, Antiseptic Solution like Betadine, dettol or savlon, Antiseptic Ointment like Neosprin, Sterile Cotton
  2. Burns and Scalds - Burn Ointment ( OTC Sulfadiazine), Burn dressings or Aloe gel
  3. Asthma Exacerbation or Breathing Difficulties - Salbutamol Inhaler, Nebulizer, Vaporizer
  4. Fever, Pain - Paracetamol
  5. Allergy - Antihistamine (Cetirizine)
  6. Hypoglycemia - Sugar candy
  7. Hyperglycemia - Insulin
