In the last two years, there has been a sudden surge of manifestation coaches. For me, it all started with the Raj Shamani podcast with Mitesh Khatri and Indu Khatri. I saw the whole episode and tried the money frequency thing, Ho’oponopono, and affirmations. I am not sure if it worked because maybe I wasn’t very consistent about it.
However, I genuinely believe in the words of Rhonda Byrne, explained in her book The Secret (2006): “Remember that your thoughts are the primary cause of everything.”
Lucas J. Dixon et al. studied manifestation and concluded that it’s not magic but rather a three-step process: Thoughts, visualisations, and self-talk.
Yes, our subconscious mind defines our intentions and, thus, our actions. As we think, life moves on that track, and hence, goals are accomplished or incomplete as a result of it.
Visualisation strengthens our actions. It acts as a fuel because it motivates us to live the life that we are imagining.
And self-talk acts as a reminder of why you started what you are doing and how far you have come in the journey.
And that sums up manifestation for me. With this article, I wanted to clarify that manifestation is not a shortcut. It’s part of the process of achieving your goal.
Have you practised manifestation and received results from it? Let me know in the comments below.
