How do you cope with daily academic and non academic stress? What are the best ways to do it?
In my case,i do things which i love doing for example i cook or go for a walk or i listen songs.
Recently i started doing exercises daily for half an hr which makes my mind calm and peaceful.
Catch up with your hobbies, even a power nap can also help.
Engage your mind with pleasant atmosphere and can opt yoga and meditation
Spending time with friends has helped me with relieving academic stress.
I stay calm by planning my office work. I do one task at a time, so I don’t feel too stressed. When I feel tired or worried, I take a short walk or talk to someone.
For me what feels you good or give you happiness you should do that first what you like most and which gives you motivation
I cope up with academic stress by spending time in doing what i like for example enjoying nature, playing with my dog or watching kdrama and giving 30 min breaks between study session.
Coping mechanisms are essential tools for emotional well-being. They empower us to manage stress, heal from setbacks and helps to build inner strength.
Cleaning, walking and taking to my loved ones.
Sharing the issues with any loved ones will make u feel lighter .. venting reduces your mental load once u share it .
Keep studying, discuss with study- buddies and stay focused.
Extra curriculars are a must.
Nap works for me too
I keep up by using a to-do list of daily tasks and most importantly by taking naps in between. If not exercise then try going for a short walk it definitely helps!
Go for a walk in nearby park or take a nap.
By the sheer thought of “this shall too pass”.
By taking it day-to-day, hour-to-hour, minute-to-minute.
Sometimes just focusing on a different stressor (gives a brief break from the current stress)
Are these all dysfunctional? yes… So, please do find better coping mechanisms!
Doing absolutely nothing and having something to eat has so far helped me to manage my stress
