- Sleeping in them, which can increase the risk of corneal damage and eye infections.
- Overwearing them, which can lead to reduced oxygen supply and dry eyes.
- Cleaning contact lenses with tap water.
- Not washing your hands before using them.
When can contact lenses cause permanent eye damage?
