Definitely improves your performance… Let me tell you my experience I have been using japanese technique to read for my MDS exams … And trust me it was extremely helpful, stress free, analytic and I didn’t feel exhausted and I could sit for more hours, than usual…

what is the japanese technique?

Its good.Take short breaks to recharge. Try to connect with the nature or learn some skill, instead of spending it in social media during the break period. Because it can lead to lack of focus.

Break hours are as important as the working hours.

Continuously walking can decrease the productivity level as it can lead to burn out and fatigue. Persons creativity and ability to think got affected after continue hours of working.

By taking breaks, such as tea aur coffee break, roaming around, playing games, by sitting in solitude - these are the things that can rejuvenate an individual both physically and mentally, and can increase the ability to think more creatively and productively.

So in my opinion, it is good undoubtablly!

Personally i am someone really into the hustle culture but a time comes when you hit the wall and now whether you want or not you have to take a pause and when i went past this a couple times, i saw the pattern and chose to take breaks (guilt free, actual rest , reconnecting with myself) than things started to click better so yea breaks do no harm when you take them with the right intentions.

Taking breaks generally improves performance. Short, intentional pauses help refresh the mind, reduce stress, boost focus, and prevent burnout—leading to better productivity, creativity, and overall mental well-being throughout the day.

Taking breaks can improve performance by increasing focus, enhancing creativity, and reducing burnout.

However, the impact depends on break duration, frequency, and individual productivity styles. Finding the right balance is key.
