While wearables helps us to track our steps,sleep cycle, heart rate, stress levels and much more and come in handy to maintain a disciplined lifestyle, it is also very important for us to be aware of the downsides of the same.

Very interesting and thought provoking! Though the real time vitals can reduce the lab visits and can be life saving, it can aid the risk of over medical anxiety and self medication.

People should be educated first to avoid misinterpretation of the data. It is the responsibility of the clinicians as well to guide people about the possible fluctuations in the data with respect to time, age, physical work etc to avoid unnecessary anxiety especially in elderly.
