Your Pet's Secret Job: Health & Wellness Coach

We all know our pets make us happy, but did you know they’re also secretly helping us stay healthy? It’s true! The simple act of petting a dog or a cat can have a powerful, calming effect on your body. The science is in: it helps lower your blood pressure and reduces the amount of stress hormones, like cortisol, in your system. This is why pet therapy is so popular—they have a natural ability to make us feel better.

But the benefits don’t stop there. Having a dog, for example, often means more walks and more time outdoors. These daily routines keep us active and moving, which is a fantastic way to improve our overall physical health. So, next time you’re snuggling with your furry friend, remember you’re not just giving them love, you’re getting a powerful dose of wellness in return.

This is true. A lot of times people don’t realise but since animals are really sensitive to moods and body language, they absorb the negative energy, naturally making us feel better and happy.
