Self-care is important but often ignored due to busy work schedules. Spending a little time on exercise, meditation, or yoga can really help reduce stress, especially for those working in healthcare.

Yoga is extremely relevant for healthcare workers—not just as exercise, but as a tool for stress regulation, focus, and burnout prevention. Despite knowing its benefits, only a small proportion of healthcare students and professionals practice it regularly, often due to time constraints and work pressure. Self-care isn’t a luxury in healthcare; it’s a professional responsibility. When we care for our own physical and mental health, we are better equipped to care for others.
