Everyone needs a travel break irrespective of any age group, gender, personal or professional life. Travel gives a space to slow down, to understand ourselves a little more, to live well, to enjoy our favourite food without rushing, to see the outside world with eyes wide open and feeling all the colors and sounds, watching others doing their own life, letting us sleep without thinking what task we have to do tomorrow, allows us to breath deeply as the body and mind doesn’t carry any load etc. Not necessarily this travel has to be planned to a far-off place (if that can be done, it’s great!), one can visit that calm park or garden just where the road ends outside of the house to feel the stillness within, one can visit a mall when you want to be surrounded and during the difficult moments of loneliness, walk on a busy road to see how everybody is still going on in life despite all the hard work and feel the lights at night to understand that light always exist even when we can’t see it. Mountains teach us how to stand tall and grounded, beaches convey that despite tides, calmness can still be embraced. So overall, travel is therapeutic and it’s scientifically proven through various research studies.
