Which dental procedure do you find most challenging?

For me, it has to be the extraction of a firm tooth.
No matter how well I elevate or section, sometimes I feel like I simply don’t have the strength to pull it out!
It’s not just about force — it’s about technique, patience, and sometimes a silent prayer.

What about you?
Which dental procedure do you find tricky — and why?

I think root canal treatment for upper molars

That’s what I thought during the start of my fellowship for endodontics. But once you start practicing its easier than the lower molars.

I find it difficult to locate canals in molars, especially during complex root canal treatments with multiple canals. Also yes, difficult tooth extractions.

Horizontally impacted lower third molar extraction is the most challenging for me.

For me prostodontoc work like complete denture or removable partial denture is tricky and challenging.

For me preparing cavities on the upper molars seems to be difficult.

rct for second maxillary molar

I second that.
