Prosthodontics, in my opinion. Any minor change or error can lead to a big misfit and even handling errors can make us pay the price T T
Orthodontics must also be a difficult specialty as many patients feel dissatisfied. Just my observation, as I am not a dentist.
I would say oral and maxillofacial surgery(Omfs) .. as a bds graduate all you see is impaction, suturing in surgery dept.. but Omfs includes trauma reconstruction, tumor removal and much more extensive surgeries..
Although, I donโt posses much knowledge in dental field still something which involves suregery as well as cosmetic involvement can be tricky.
Oral surgery (OMFS) provides wider career choices.
Omfs involves 3rd molar impaction removal surgery. This is a complex treatment as there is very less visibility and accessibility in your wisdom teeth. The procedure involves bone cutting and extracting the tooth.
Peds dentistry/ Pedodontics requires a different kind of mindset and skill set. So, I take this seriously.
