At the end of the interview when they ask if you have some questions for them what, what questions do you ask them ?
Whether you are a specialist, a doctor , a nurse, a therapist or anyone in healthcare, the details of work mentioned in the interview is a deciding factor of your work place for you.
What questions do you really ask to understand the expectations, work load and work culture ? Are there any questions you wish you wish you had asked before beginning to work in your position ?
I am also curious if everyone always asks something to get to know the details or are there times it’s better to not ask questions if everything is clear.
Asking the right questions at the end of an interview is essential. Understanding workload, support systems, team culture, and role expectations can prevent future burnout or mismatch. I usually ask about typical day flow, staffing ratios, mentorship, and performance expectations. It’s better to ask than assume, clarity builds confidence and informed decisions.
