What should I prepare beforehand for the interview?
I get anxious and sometimes they ask questions that I do not have answers to what should I do at that time ?
Any tip ?
Should I search about them on internet and tell them about it , to show that I am really interested working with them or will it look really desperate?
For a job interview, doing proper research about the employer/ organization and the job or vacancy is very important. We have often seen that the candidates come unprepared and they have not even read the job description properly.
Asking relevant questions in the interview definitely helps and so is showing adequate interest in the job opportunity. If you do not know something, we should say that OK we will look into this and get back to them as relevant.
All the best!
If you are experienced person just prepare what you learned why doing your job. Carefully read your job description and prepare for that. Every candidate doesn’t possess all skills that interviewer looking for. But they try to see that if you have keen interest to learn new things then they will pick you. Also try to understand current scenario of that job profile
Read the job discription carefully
Just be confident while giving interview and answer each question calmly and If you don’t know any answer say I will work on this topic because no one knows totally
Just give interview with confidence.
Research their job description properly and learn about it . If online interviews then you should try internet but be sure that they don’t know about it .
Give all questions answers clamly take time to give answer just few seconds don’t be in rushed.
If you don’t know about anything about any question then you tell him and say i will work on it and appreciate them .
Go through the chatgpt and paste your job description there you will get all the questions and answers related to the job and learn about the company also in which the company is specialized. Prepare 15 questions and answers by getting it from chatgpt and go through it thoroughly and prepare perfectly. if you cant answer any question tell them honestly that sorry sir or mam i dont know answer for this question. if you are feeling anxious then prepare for mock interviews by seeing ourself in the mirror. here you will notice your mistakes and it will decrease your anxiety.
At first know about the company and as well as the role your applying tell them about the services they provide
Get trained to the skill that is suitable for the role
And if you don’t know the answer say them straight without saying any irrelevant topics this is old technic which is quiet impressive and make them feel that your straight forward
Research about the organisation beforehand
What the role actually demands from you, prepare accordingly
And just show what you can bring to table tht benefits you as well the organisation
And how you are someone that they can’t afford to loose
If you don’t know something just say I haven’t known about it yet, no shame in accepting it
And dont come out as desperate , don’t search about them after and then go back again, one question doesn’t decide if they want to hire you or not ! It’s overall
So just chill , no big deal
Before the interview, prepare by learning about the company and the job role. It’s normal to feel nervous and not know some answers. If that happens, be honest and say you will find out and follow up later.
First of all thanks for raising this topic because most of the freshers don’t have clarity regarding what to prepare for their interview. The main thing is to know about the company type, what kind of studies they are undergoing right now and what departments they are taking studies for.Later prepare for the basic questions regarding the designation.
Confidence is the key. A strong positive one. Know inside out what you’re applying for. Be authentic. If you don’t know, humbly let them know. Make sure you know yourself well before attempting the interview and then don’t fail to showcase your strengths. Prepare everything keeping in mind - What’s one thing that makes you unique? Why they should hire you?
Thankyou sir, it will be very helpful for many of us freshers to prepare ourselves for the upcoming interviews.
This is a very helpful thread, thank you to all who contributed!
First of all just stay with a chill head before going for any interview. Everything is a step that you are building for your career and your life, so keeping that in mind have confidence and self-belief. Read the job description carefully before attending the interview and you can build a framework inside your head prior, crafting how you fit into that position and how your acquired academic knowledge and other certfiications match with that job description. Because, this is the maximum part of your pre-preparation and it will give you an inner boost as well to face the interview. Besides, every organization looks for a confident and truthful person and if you do not know anything that will be asked, you can always politely say that you do not know and also simultaneously convey that what are you going to do about it like “I will look through it” or “research about it” etc. The recruiters are not expecting everyone to know everything. Do a prior research about the organization, see what work they are doing, so that you know how to place yourself during the interview and how to highlight your strength more. After that also if it does not work, do not worry, life is long and there will always be opportunities around. Keep upskilling yourself till that moment strikes.
Thank you so much for sharing this mam. It will really very helpfull for freshers.
Doing preparation before the interview like going through the job description and role properly, visiting the website of the institution and framing answers for basic questions according to your cv really helps. If you don’t have the answer for their question during the interview, you can share something similar from your experience or just say you don’t have complete information about that, they just want to look at your confidence and passion for the job.
