What did you want to be when you were a child?
And what are you becoming now?
As kids, we dreamed without limits astronauts, doctors, artists, dancers, scientists.
Now, we often become what life shaped us into sometimes by choice, sometimes by necessity.
And that’s okay.
You’re allowed to grow out of old dreams.
You’re also allowed to go back, restart, or reinvent yourself entirely.
The real question isn’t “Did I become what I imagined?”
It’s “Am I becoming someone I’m proud of?”
What did you want to be as a kid and where are you now?
As a child, I always wanted to become a doctor.
Life took a different path, and now I’m a pharmacist.
I may not have become an MBBS doctor, but I still want that “Dr.” in front of my name.
That’s why I’m working hard to earn my Ph.D. one day.
Honestly during my childhood i didn’t wished or wanted to become something in things i am just enjoying myself at that time.
And now i am pharmacist, at 11th -12th i take pcm computer science well it is engineering field after that i think to being engineer i am not sure then after that i choose medical line pharmacy and i am proud what i am today.
I don’t even know what I wanted to be when I was a kid. I used to say doctor 'cause it was a big deal. Luckily, or something, I’m a doctor now, with a PharmD!
As a kid, I wanted to be in the army drawn to the idea of discipline, courage, and serving the nation. Life took a different turn due to medical fitness, and I didn’t end up there. But the values I admired back then still shape who I’m becoming today. I’ve learned that dreams can evolve, and it’s okay to walk a new path as long as you’re growing into someone you’re proud of.
As a child I always imagined I’d become an artist or a performer of sorts, even now I pursue these core interests as side hobbies, and with everything I know now, I’m glad my inner child grew up to understand that, while these are worthwhile pursuits they are not always the best course of action.
