Saving lives as a doctor has always been my dream since childhood. But life happened and made me to save smiles instead. Living life as a dentist when you wanted to become a doctor leads for a bit of a heartache.
Share some of the reasons for ending up as a Dentist instead of a doctor. How has it affected your life?
I couldn’t secure a medical seat due to entrance exam cutoffs and limited seats, so I chose dentistry as my path. Though it wasn’t my first dream, helping people smile confidently has given me a deep sense of satisfaction and pride.
“Dreamt of saving lives, ended up saving smiles”- that’s a great title. I guess this was the story of almost every dentist — a dream that began with saving lives and found its joy in saving smiles.
