Which should one go for if they’re beginning right now, considering political situation of America and fund cuts.
Depends on the individual judgement
Depends on further opportunities
Australia is often seen as a more welcoming and less competitive environment than the US, especially for those seeking residency positions. The Australian system features a streamlined licensing process through the AMC exams, a good work-life balance, generous vacation allowances, and a supportive healthcare system. The US, while offering higher potential salaries, has a more rigorous and lengthy licensing process through the USMLE exams, along with significant competition.
It depends on which exam pattern you are more comfortable with, to begin…
With Trump creating a worldwide instability which is likely to stay for months to come, pl do analyze the option of AMC.
I also heard about PESCI (Pre-Employment Structured Clinical Interview). This exam is different than AMC. Since I have no idea about AMC etc, please do look in to PESCI too. USMLE should offer far more opportunities as low population of Australia makes me wonder the scale and volume of opportunities in Australia might be limited. Nevertheless, dig more and talk to many people.
