Travel Medicine Checklist

We all love traveling to get relief from our daily busy schedules and work. Along with our outfits and other essential items, a medicine box is also an important part of our travel bag. Packing the right medications is crucial to prepare for common health problems that may arise during a trip.
Here is a list of medications that can be included in your travel bag:

  • Daily prescription medicines like blood pressure medications, diabetic medications, thyroid medications, etc
  • Paracetamol, Ibuprofen or Aspirin for fever and pain relief.
  • Antacids (for indigestion), Loperamide (for diarrhea), Mild laxative (for constipation).
  • ORS for dehydration
  • Antihistamines for allergies
  • Cough syrups/Lozenges
  • Nasal drops and Ear drops
  • Meclizine or Dimenhydrinate for motion sickness
  • First aids like antiseptic cream or wipes, band-aids, gauzes, medical tape and thermometer.
