Clean and good food / water, hand hygiene,full clothes in disease prone areas

Travelers to malaria-endemic areas should take antimalarial medication as prescribed, use insect repellent , sleep under insecticide-treated mosquito nets, and wear long-sleeved clothing to prevent mosquito bites.

Common antimalarial medicines to be included Chloroquine, Artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs),Quinine,Primaquine and Mefloquine

The chances of complete eradication of mosquitoes is very less, people should cover their legs when going out, especially in the evening, the female mosquito anapheles is more active at night time.

Fever, chills and sweating are common early symptoms of malaria.
Sleeping under insecticide-treated nets is a proven way to prevent bites.Prompt diagnosis and treatment can fully cure malaria and stop its spread.

A PubMed journal says to follow the ABCD of malaria prevention:

Awareness of risk,
Bite avoidance,
Compliance with chemoprophylaxis,
prompt Diagnosis of malaria

Irony that mosquitoes did not let me sleep in the night. It severely underlines the importance of eradicating mosquitoes.
