What were the tricks you sweared by that helped you survive MBBS , it’s toxicity, academic competition or be it shitty food from mess?
Steady focus on study, some good classmates and some good seniors (mentors) - this is all that takes to navigate the journey. Of course some extra curricular is important.
- Modafinil during exams
- Vit D3 monthly
- Creatinine and exercise
- Networking at events
were the game changers for me…
Smart study > Long hours – Focused revisions, mnemonics, and previous year questions. Good friends – A solid support group saves your sanity. Laugh at the chaos – Dark humor helps. A lot. Cook or stock snacks – Saved me from mess trauma. Sleep > Syllabus – A tired brain retains nothing. Clinical exposure – Made the theory feel worth it. Detach from toxic toppers – Compete with your past self only.
Hands down → Good Food
After long lecture hours and long rotational hours, good food made my body and soul happy
Honestly, I am also looking for one, but the thing that helped me was my bonding with my roomie. So we actually used to study together during our Mbbs proffs, used to cook together because we couldn’t get through mess food Lol😆 , made our secret mnemonics, and also we used to roam in campus together.
This is the thing that really helped me get through even during the tough times was that we knew we had each other.
So if you have a nice roomie trust me build a healthy relationship with them and these 5 years of Mbbs will pass on smoothly.
Hope that helps!
And get some sunshine if one is in cold areas.
Making friends and enjoying with them every part of the journey.
Treat yourself every once in a while. Have friends around to destress after a tough day and study consistently no matter how much or how less. Talk to your parents and enjoy the process.
Always remain occupied with some work or remained occupied in your hobbies new let your brain thinks about the shits going around you
